The Ultimaker PVA Removal Station dissolves support material quickly and effectively, minimizing operator time and increasing productivity. With rapid water circulation using a magnetic rotor, PVA is removed up to four times faster than with stagnant water, even from hard-to-reach cavities. This means your parts are quickly post-processed and ready for use.
The Ultimaker PVA Removal Station requires only a few minutes of operator time per print, and maintenance is minimal. Operation is done with a single start button; the device then autonomously completes the task, requiring the user only to retrieve the print when it's finished.
Development by TSG Group
TSG Group has been involved in the development of the PVA Removal Station from an early stage. After extensive form studies, user testing, and the creation of various designs, we collaborated with Ultimaker to develop the entire device.
The services we provided included conceptualization, design, prototype development and realization, risk analyses, mechanical design with a focus on user-friendliness, material advice, and assistance in setting up the supply chain. Additionally, the first batch of PVA removal stations was fully tested and assembled in-house.
