Current and urgent, disinfecting your hands. On the road, in the hospitality industry, at the office and at home. DipperDip is an automatic device that dispenses a correct dose of disinfectant gel at any time, reminding you to disinfect your hands by means of sound and light signals.
Dipperdip is a Dutch startup, created by a team of people with track record on various products and in multiple companies.
The initiator is often on the road and noticed that he regularly needed a handy way to disinfect his hands in the car. An internet search yielded no results so the idea was born.
DipperDip is an automatic gel dispenser, equipped with multiple sensors and an intelligent control. The design and functionality are special compared to existing products.
DipperDip can detect when someone walks by and remind this person to disinfect their hands by means of a light and/or sound signal. Loudness, brightness, dose size and detection distance are adjustable, battery level and liquid stock can be read.
The accompanying wall bracket ensures that the Dipperdip is held and locked, the Dipperdip can only be removed with a special key.
TSG Essempio has translated the first ideas and sketches of the DipperDip into a concrete conceptual design. In a very short time, the design was further developed and a design proposal for the user interface was made. Subsequently, a number of functional and representative prototypes were made in our proto-shop, for filming and presentation of the concept.
In parallel to this, the engineering and elaboration started and communication with the producing parties. In addition, the 60 different color combinations of the dispenser have been visualized photo-realistically for the website. In a very short time, a product has been developed that can already be called successful before the market introduction.
