iTapToo x TSG Group: the path to success
iTapToo, a start-up that emerged from Fontys University's entrepreneurship minor in Eindhoven in 2020, has developed an innovative soft drink vending machine. This refill point offers a responsible beverage as a healthy and sustainable alternative to traditional sodas. iTapToo's mission? Making an impact together!
In 2021, we got in touch with iTapToo to further develop their concept. Now, 3 years later, we look back on a successful collaboration.
After securing funding and conducting a thorough feasibility study, iTapToo approached us for the product development of their soda vending machine. Why us? Because we are capable of carrying out the entire development process under one roof, without the complexity of multiple contacts at different companies.
Together, we formulated an extensive set of requirements and created a proof-of-concept test setup. After successful validation of the concept, a design study followed, resulting in a beautiful and functional design. The prototypes were tested with pilot customers, leading to the final product.
What made this project successful? Of course, the development of a good concept. And close collaboration. Short communication lines, efficient decision-making, and a balanced combination of commercial insight from iTapToo and technical expertise from our side.

The design of the iTapToo is inspired by an inverted drinking bottle, from which a beverage flows. Thanks to this shape, it feels very intuitive to place a bottle in the iTapToo. The refreshing drink is prepared on the spot, and the consumer experiences this process on a screen. Together, we contribute to a future without plastic!
The iTapToo vending machine is a technological masterpiece. On a large touchscreen, you select your favorite drink from a range of six refreshing flavors. Thanks to dry mix blended with chilled water, maintenance is simple. Smart sensors and hardware controlled by intelligent IoT software developed by TSG Group itself provide valuable data and internet-based control. Remote updates, preventive service notifications, and data collection on consumed drinks offer valuable information to iTapToo. Read more about the case.
